Polybond 7200 Polypropylene Based Coupling Agents 55.12 Bag

Maleic anhydride modified polypropylene homopolymer. Acts as a high efficiency coupling agent for cellulose fiber-filled polypropylene leading to reduced water uptake and higher flexural/tensile strengths. Offers very high maleic anhydride content. Used for mineral-filled polypropylene which offers improved strength and impact properties.

Keep Polybond 7200 dry prior to processing since it is hygroscopic in nature. Tie liners of open boxes when not in use to prevent exposure to moisture. If exposure occurs, Polybond 7200 can be dried in a hopper dryer or oven for several hours at 105° C to remove moisture. A slight pungent odor is normal during processing of Polybond 7200. Purge equipment with polypropylene before and after running Polybond 7200
