Description

Acrylic acid modified polypropylene homopolymer. Acts as an adhesion promoter and dispersing agent. Provides an improved adhesion to metals and other polar surfaces. It is a polymer modifier. Offers high melt flow index for applications requiring formulations with low viscosities. Also offers ulta-high acrylic acid content. Used for polypropylene master batches as well as color concentrates which further gives better filler and pigment dispersion as well as reduced bloom of polar ingredients.

Storage & Handling Precautions

Keep POLYBOND ® 1103 dry prior to processing since it is hygroscopic in nature. Tie liners of open boxes when not in use to prevent exposure to moisture. If exposure occurs, POLYBOND ® 1103 can be dried in a hopper dryer or oven for several hours at 105° C to remove moisture. A slight pungent odor is normal during processing of POLYBOND ® 1103. Purge equipment with polypropylene before and after running POLYBOND ® 1103
